It’s all about Bill!  Founder, leader and owner.

Bill started in the auto body and collision industry as an apprentice under Lou Purcellie at age 15.  Lou was not only a friend of the family, but a St. Louis City Police officer that owned Automotive Unlimited.  While apprenticing, Bill became a master welder through the Boiler Makers Union.  Additionally, he became certified in welding technology and blue print reading at Vatterott & Sullivan University, completing everything at ITT Technical School.

Bill believes every technician is an automotive surgeon and has instilled this vision into everything Auto Art Auto Body Shop produces.  Bill has meticulously assembled a team of professionals based on his vision, education and experience of how an auto body shop should run and has operated as such for over 30 successful years.

Bill is on site everyday lending his vision, training, experience and trouble shooting ability to everyday situations.  You can find Bill spot checking just about every vehicle Auto Art Auto Body Shop performs.

Nick “Il Cugino”

Nick joined the Auto Art family full-time in October 2016 after spending the previous four years managing our marketing and social media. Nick has his bachelor’s degree in international business with an emphasis on international marketing. Nick’s passion for cars started as a young boy hanging out with his grandpa and his antique car collection; a 1918 Buick, a 1927 Ford Model T, a 1930 Ford Model A Cabriolet, a 1941 Plymouth PT-125 pick-up, a 1948 Chrysler Windsor and the first car he ever drove, a 1974 Cadillac Sedan Deville. After his grandpa passed away, Nick inherited the 1941 Plymouth PT-125 and brought it to Auto Art for restoration. The rest is history!!!

Nick handles the day to day business for the shop as well as many behind the scenes duties.  In his free time Nick enjoys spending time with his family, attending car shows with his Plymouth, traveling the world and chasing that little white ball around the golf course.
